Under my father’s influence from many years ago, I felt a desire to work in the medical care field, and am currently resident in medical school; but I am also interested in programming and mathematics.

The thing I most excel at, competitive programming, is something I encountered in my second year of junior high. I went on to win a silver medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics, and won the ICPC World Finals Invitational, as well as a University of Tokyo Chancellor Award. Even today I continue to devote myself to improving my skills further.

In the future, I would like to do work that crosses over medicine, programming, and mathematics fields. I also have an interest in starting and managing a business, and plan to gain further experience in those fields.
