I am researching practical indistinguishability obfuscation (iO) in the Machina iO project within the Ethereum Foundation. Although iO is often called the “holy grail” of cryptography for its universal power, real-world deployment remains distant. In 2025 our team proposed a new iO construction and released a partial prototype implementation. I will continue exploring iO and other advanced cryptographic primitives, aiming to build a society where people can trust systems, especially AI, safeguarded by strong and practical cryptography.
