2017: Mineral Appraiser Certification
Hello, I am a mineral appraiser living in Osaka!
I am interested in natural science in general. Around age three, the phrase “biodiversity” inspired my interest in the world of natural sciences. At the age of five, iridium in the K-Pg boundary made me interested in chemical elements. When I was seven, this led me to minerals, which are made up of chemical elements. This developed into an interest in earth science, which is expressed in the language of minerals.
I am currently researching the minerals Dawsonite and Alumohydrocalcite, which are produced in the Izumi Group of Osaka. Many Osaka residents probably do not know that Dawsonite is actually a famous mineral from Osaka.
In general, we cannot directly observe the process by which minerals are formed, so we must imagine it. This is a source of endless fascination to me. When we turn our viewpoint from under our feet to the depths of the sky, this leads to a new world that is an entirely different environment . To obtain new knowledge, I feel that we must first engage in profound studies of earth system science.
I am only 13, but I have been reading for 12 years and am a true bibliophile. My favorite book is Sangokushi by Eiji Yoshikawa. I am also studying geopolitics and entomophagy.
I look forward to unexpected chemical reactions produced from my interactions with other members of this Foundation!
