I aspire to make the world a better place by promoting resource recycling and solving energy-related issues through the power of microbiology and engineering. Specifically, I am interested in algae or insect-based biofuels, rare earth elements found in the seas around Japan, and the effective use of sewage and sewage sludge. In addition to energy, I am also fascinated by fields such as medicine and agriculture, where I hope to apply microbiology and engineering to address various pressing challenges. I am excited about the opportunity to meet many inspiring and “interesting” people through t he Foundation, and I look forward to engaging in collaborative research and development.
