I have loved robots since I was very young. I learned about the world for the first time when I entered a robot contest in my second year of elementary school, and my love has grown during the several years since then. During this period, I gained the conviction that I want to build robots that inspire human emotions. Robots were originally made for purposes such as doing labor, but I think they are somewhat different today.
I believe “robots that inspire emotions” refers to robots that affect human emotions (like happiness, anger, sadness, and enjoyment). This concept is not yet concrete, but I will work to give it more specificity as I learn in the Foundation.
