I am working on research in the field of aerodynamics, and am exploring original wing shapes that are not bound by conventional designs. Specifically, I am using a self-made wing model, lift measuring apparatus, drag measuring apparatus, and wind tunnel testing apparatus to verify the effect of the wing’s cross-sectional shape on lift and drag generation by visualizing the lift-to-drag ratio and airflow. At the Foundation, I would like to meet fellow students who are just as enthusiastic about their challenges and learn from perspectives of different fields in order to think about my research and ideas from a broader perspective. In the future, I would like to contribute to the development of personal flying vehicles that will allow many people to fly safely and freely in the sky.
