2023 Harnessing the Power of Data
I am a student at Rice University studying Neuroscience and Medical Humanities, and researching Neuroengineering at the Bioscience Research Collaborative. For the past several years before coming to Rice I have been investigating methods to create antibacterial nanomaterials at University of California, Irvine. I aim to apply these antimicrobial nanomaterials to burn wound bandages, surfaces in hospitals, or space stations for future space travel. As a Masason member, I am excited to expand my research to mass production, and to provide impoverished communities with methods to reduce antimicrobial resistance.
