I truly love robots. In Japan I’m what is called a “robojo” (robot girl) —I’ve supervised robot products , built my own studio, and even received an offer to publish a robot contest-related book .
The ambition I hope to achieve before I die is to use technologies and entertainment to create a world in which disabilities are not impediments.
I want to explore what it means to be a “good engineer” who can offer a wide range of choices for prosthetic legs, arms, and other items, just like eyeglasses are not merely used to correct vision—they are also enjoyable fashion items and gadgets.

Finally, I hope to help create a world in which people of any gender can choose the paths they want to pursue—a world in which we no longer use words like “rikejo” (“science girl”) and “robojo.”
